This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless cross-platform user experiences, accurate device and access intelligence, and compliant data activation for analytics, personalization, and security.As a key leader within the Data team, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your work will empower internal teams by managing a unified view of customers across multiple diverse business units – this will power marketing activation, analytics, and more. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep data expertise, capable of translating ambiguous business needs into actionable product roadmaps while balancing scalability, performance, and privacy compliance. You will also lead the product strategy for modernizing legacy customer data pipelines. This includes migrating legacy systems to modern data-sharing architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Architecture, Privacy, Governance, and Business Teams to build scalable, compliant, and highly available data productsManage relationships and technical integrations with third-party identity matching and data enrichment vendors to enhance customer demographic profiles.Define and own the long-term strategy and repeatable processes for onboarding new business units' customer data into the centralized data platform for enrichment and activation.Oversee the management, integration, and planning of data processes with associated upstream and downstream partner teams, ensuring seamless data flow to support timely and informed decision-makingHelp enable data activation by ensuring data is easily accessible for analytics, machine learning, data science, marketing, and other data use casesOversee stakeholder engagement, prioritizing intake requests, defining requirements, and ensuring timely, compliant data deliveryDevelop and maintain clear product documentation, including detailed product briefs, roadmaps, and success metricsDrive awareness and engagement by delivering timely communications and targeted presentations to highlight feature launches and their business impact.Identify and mitigate risks, addressing key blockers and dependencies across teamsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics or related discipline is a plus.5+ years of experience in data product management, platform development, data engineering, or related fieldsDemonstrated experience working with third-party identity resolution and data enrichment vendors (e.g., Acxiom, Transunion, Experian) to support customer data unificationProven ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams, complex enterprise data migrations, and vendor relationshipsFamiliarity with identity resolution, authentication flows, device metadata management, and third-party data enrichment pipelinesAbility to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver scalable, high-impact data solutionsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to measure success through data-driven insightsProficiency with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development, documentation, and data analysis tasksPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree preferredShown experience in video streaming, OTT, and subscription based servicesExperience working with data ingestion APIs, warehouse infrastructure, and data sharing technologiesExperience applying AI/ML techniques for identity resolution, data enrichment, or customer segmentationDemonstrated experience leading product strategy for household-level identity resolution, linking related individuals, devices, and accounts into unified household groupings to power suppression, attribution, and personalization use cases across business unitsFamiliarity with big data storage, processing technologies, and modeling techniques (Druid, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift, star schema, OLAP, etc.)#TECHATDISNEYThe hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA, Glendale, CA and Bristol, CT is $141,900 to $190,300 per year and in New York, NY is $148,700 to $199,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
