In less than a month our Home Health Aides / Personal Care Aides learn:
- How to provide compassionate, individualized care to your clients
- How to give bed baths, use mechanical lifts, provide personal care and so much more!
- Effective communication skills
- How to assess your client's needs and document them properly
- Infection prevention protocol, including how to use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job responsibilities for HHA - Home Health Aides / Caregivers:
- Activities of daily living
- Bathing, grooming, nail care
- Range of motion / exercises / transfers
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Medication assistance
