Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Securities Algorithmic Trader in Charlotte, NC. Job Role and Responsibility : Responsible for designing, monitoring, and managing trading algorithms for electronic trades; Process and execute orders using automated and pre-programmed trading instructions - accounting for variables such as price, timing, and volume within Securities Algorithmic Trading; Serve as a subject matter expert on electronic trading algorithms to both clients and internal partners; Review and provide oversight for moderately complex algorithms, formulas, and mathematical models that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; Contribute to large-scale planning related to functional area deliverables; Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment to understand and develop functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements; and Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Travel required: None Required Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related quantitative field. Position requires 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a field involving quantitative analytics. Position requires the following:

• Experience in securities algorithmic trading

• Ability to analyze large datasets, build models, and draw commercial conclusions

• Ability to develop and deliver production code using Java/C++ and Python

• Experience designing and building systematic/algorithmic trading systems, including market-making systems in the fixed income space

• Experience with fixed-income markets; building machine-learning models; collaborating on a large-scale, enterprise codebase; working with large-scale datasets in Python; and developing a safe environment using controls, testing, and resiliency around electronic trading

• Experience with Unix and shell scripting
