We are currently in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to enhance our dynamic practice in Des Moines, prompted by an upcoming retirement. Opportunity Highlights

• Become part of a team consisting of 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Work primarily in an inpatient setting (80%) with some clinic responsibilities (20%).
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:5.
• Manage a rounding and consult volume of 12-15 patients daily.
• See 12-15 patients in the clinic, with APP support for follow-up care.
• Benefit from 24/7 coverage by Pulmonary Critical Care and Hospitalists.
• Engage in teaching as part of the Internal Medicine Residency Faculty.
• Access a built-in referral network.

Position Details

• Enjoy a guaranteed annual salary of $285,261 for the first two years.
• Receive a recruitment incentive of $150,000.

Our organization encompasses four hospitals in central and southern Iowa, totaling 875 beds, along with the management of 16 rural hospitals. The main facility, a Level II Trauma Center, features 550 beds and serves a tertiary area of 1.4 million residents, making it one of the busiest emergency departments in Iowa.
