Company Overview:

Edison Foard is an 86-year-old Charlotte-based commercial general contractor.  We are seeking to hire a fulltime, Project Manager with experience at a supervisory level with the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining a positive client/contractor relationship.

Responsibilities

·         Oversee 2-4 projects concurrently with values of $15 - $40 M+ annually

·         Manage the project financials and job budgets & profitability while delivering a quality project

·         Lead the project team – client, architect, superintendent, subcontractors, vendors

·         Manage schedules, submittals, RFIs & financial reporting, subcontracts, COs, POs, etc. – Managing overall project document control

·         Plan and coordinate construction activities

·         Evaluate risk

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in construction management, preferred, or degreed in a related field or applicable certification or minimum 10+ years commercial general construction experience.

·         Ground up experience a plus

·         Public and private client experience

·         Ability to read and understand construction documents and contracts

·         Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, Project, Procore, Bluebeam

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·         Ability to adapt and follow EF established processes

·         Commitment to working as an Edison Foard team member with strong client focus

·         Ability to communicate and plan with engineers, architects and stakeholders

·         Willingness to travel a plus

·         Experience with multiple delivery methods
