Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized patient care within the cardiac catheterization laboratory setting, supporting procedures such as ablations, device implantations, and electrophysiology (EP) studies. The role requires collaboration with cardiologists and other health care professionals to ensure high-quality, sterile environment patient care during procedures.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS Certifications, a minimum of 1 year of current experience in cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system, and ability to scrub in the EP lab.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Experience or skills preferred: previous travel experience in similar settings.
• Additional Information:
  • Must have a sterile environment experience, with preference given to those with EP lab scrub experience.
  • Participate in call rotation, with 3 call nights per month from 5 PM to 7 AM, including one weekend from Friday through Sunday.
  • Floating to the catheterization laboratory to assist in circulating and monitoring is required; no floating to interventional radiology.
  • Provided scrubs and unit-specific orientation of one week post-onboarding.
  • The role involves in-lab during the day hours, with half call after hours. Off days include clinic work.
  • The candidate must have EPIC experience and be able to respond to call within 20 minutes.
  • For equipment: experience with MacLab/Cardiolab, Biosense Webster mapping; catheterization lab staff include paramedics, EMTs, or radiologic technologists.
