The Senior Systems Engineer will report to the Manager, Software Engineering.About The Role & Team:The Guest Content Experience Systems Engineering team supports the enterprise platforms and operational processes that enable content management, digital asset management, personalization, localization, and reliable digital experiences. The team partners with product, software engineering, quality assurance, operations, and business teams to configure and improve platforms, support software delivery, and maintain production stability.What You'll Do:Configure, administer, support, and continuously improve enterprise platforms supporting content management, digital asset management, personalization, localization, and production operationsAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, platform, workflow, and integration issues across consumer- and employee-facing enterprise systemsSupport platform configuration, structured data validation, workflow management, environment readiness, and release validation for new use cases and user storiesRead, interpret, and validate JSON structures and REST service responses using tools such as Postman to confirm data accuracy and expected system behaviorMonitor platform health, performance, and availability using enterprise observability tools; lead incident triage, root cause analysis, service restoration, and follow-up improvementsExecute change and release management processes, including ServiceNow change records, technical reviews, deployment readiness, validation, and production supportPartner with product, software engineering, quality assurance, operations, and business teams to deliver platform enhancements and resolve cross-system dependenciesDevelop and maintain configuration standards, technical documentation, operational procedures, support runbooks, and knowledge resourcesRequired Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of related experience supporting enterprise applications, digital platforms, or production systemsTechnical experience with consumer- and employee-facing enterprise systems in high-availability environmentsExperience configuring and supporting enterprise content management, digital asset management, personalization, localization, or comparable platformsStrong application troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and production stabilization skillsProficiency with SQL and data validation across relational or NoSQL technologiesProficiency reading and validating JSON structures, REST service responses, and system integrations using tools such as PostmanExperience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application supportExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, or CloudWatchExperience with change and release management processes and tools such as ServiceNow and JiraFamiliarity with distributed version control and CI/CD practicesExperience working in an Agile delivery environment using Jira, Confluence, or similar toolsStrong communication, technical documentation, collaboration, and customer-service skills, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and emerging technologiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting large-scale content, asset, personalization, or localization platformsExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, ECS, or related technologiesFamiliarity with platform configuration, publishing workflows, metadata, tagging, schemas, and content lifecycle processesExperience supporting REST-based integrations and validating data across interconnected enterprise systemsExperience with production change control, release readiness, incident reviews, and operational improvementFamiliarity with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or comparable technologiesExperience mentoring Systems Engineers and providing technical guidance across delivery and sustainment workDemonstrated use of AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, or Anthropic Claude, to improve analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, or workflow efficiencyFamiliarity with CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure automation, or cloud observability practicesAbility to communicate platform health, technical risks, and recommendations to technical and business partnersAdvanced coursework or certifications in cloud technologies, systems engineering, enterprise platforms, or related disciplinesRequired Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experienceThe hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $111,900.00 to $150,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
