Are you dependable, energetic, and ready to work behind the scenes of exciting hotel events? Join our banquet team as a Part-Time Banquet Houseperson and help transform our event spaces for weddings, celebrations, business meetings, and other special occasions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in attention to detail, and thrives as part of a fast-paced, supportive team.
What You’ll Do- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications and diagrams.
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and other event equipment.
- Break down and reset event spaces efficiently.
- Ensure banquet rooms and service areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
- Maintain clean and properly stocked banquet stations.
- Assist banquet servers and other team members as operational needs require.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and team requests.
- Properly store and care for banquet furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and health requirements.
- Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates.
- Previous hospitality, banquet, or event-setup experience is preferred but not required.
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow event instructions and room-setup diagrams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication and excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move event furniture and equipment.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
