Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour Days, 36 hours or 48 hours per week. Will float to PCU as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be willing to float to the PCU as needed. The role requires current critical care experience, with skills in vent management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a critical care environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures with precision.
• Document patient care and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and educate patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Two years of current critical care experience.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
