Peds - Endocrinology Physician Opportunity - Westminster, MD Position Details - Specialize in the management of diabetes, and treat thyroid, pituitary, and osteoporosis issues in the outpatient setting - Call rotation is 1:4, with the vast majority being phone call coverage only - BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology - Completed Endocrinology Fellowship; open to new fellowship graduates - Expertise in diagnosing and treating adult diseases, with a focus on endocrine system and metabolism disorders - Ability to perform inpatient consults on a rotating basis - Skilled in advising, ordering, and interpreting appropriate tests - Capable of discussing diagnoses with patients, explaining treatment options, and providing advice on medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive measures - Competent in carrying out follow-up appointments, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, updating patient records, and making referrals as needed - Committed to staying current on best practices, developments, trends, research, and technology - Timely completion of patient encounter documentation and billing is required - Ability to perform thyroid biopsies is required Benefits Details - Annual base salary plus production and performance bonus incentives - Medical malpractice insurance - 401(k) plan & NQDC plan - Professional dues - CME annual allowance - Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays - Relocation reimbursement - Healthcare insurance (including dental and vision) and life insurance Community Details Westminster, Maryland, located in picturesque Carroll County, is a charming Baltimore suburb offering a variety of activities for a wide range of interests.
