Calibration Technician - Field (ETI) Frederick, MD

ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team in Frederick, MD ! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. Location: On-site at various customer sites in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Frederick, MD . Day to Day Responsibilities: Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates You will be successful in this role if you: Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude Have excellent attention to detail Have a strong work ethic Basic Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to lift 50lbs Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Good organizational and prioritization skills Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability and w illingness to travel to customer locations w ith frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year. This may also include rare w eekend travel. Nice to have: At least two years of experience in a related field Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields Technical Degree or Certificate Military PMEL Training Experience with IndySoft Pay Information: Level 0 starts at $26.
