Claims Specialist

Claims Specialist – Trucking & Logistics (5+ Years Experience Required)We are looking for an experienced Claims Specialist with 5+ years of experience in the trucking and logistics industry to join our growing company. We need someone who can contribute to the company long-term, understands how transportation insurance works, and can professionally manage claims from start to finish.Responsibilities:* Handle and manage: * Cargo claims * Auto liability claims * Bodily injury claims * Occupational accident claims * Physical damage (PD) * General liability (GL)* Prepare and submit claim reports and documentation* Communicate with insurance adjusters, brokers, repair shops, medical providers, attorneys, and customers* Investigate incidents and collect supporting documents, photos, BOLs, invoices, police reports, and accident reports* Follow up on open claims and negotiate resolutions* Review contracts, insurance policies, and rate confirmations* Maintain organized claim files and detailed records* Assist management with claim prevention and risk management strategies* Draft professional emails, reports, and documentation .Requirements / Skills:* Minimum 5+ years experience in trucking/logistics claims (REQUIRED)* Strong understanding of: * Cargo insurance * Auto liability * Bodily injury claims * Occupational accident claims * Freight claims process * Transportation insurance policies* Experience working with insurance companies, attorneys, and adjusters* Knowledge of DOT and trucking industry operations* Strong communication and negotiation skills* High attention to detail and organization* Experience with: * Microsoft Office * Google Workspace / Google Sheets* English required (additional languages are a plus)Location: Plainfield, Illinois, USA, or Chișinău, Moldova.Remote work is not available.Please send your CV to ***email_hidden*** note that we are not hiring for a Claims Assistant position at this time.
