Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Physician

Full-Time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon w/ Microsurgery needed to help us expand our services! Come live in the beautiful capital of Florida and practice the most advanced care in the region! Build a Microvascular Program while working to support the hospital's Oral & Maxillofacial Service. This position will join an established, full-time OMFS, Dr. Melissa Amundson, DDS, MPH, FACS. The service has a well-developed, broad scope trauma coverage with a large referral base in the Florida Panhandle, as TMH is the destination for Trauma Care in the region. We aim to expand OMFS coverage for the region including Head and Neck Oncology.

Position Details

• Primary Role: Develop an advanced reconstruction practice focused on free tissue transfer/ microvascular surgery.
• Head and Neck Oncology
• Hospital-Based with academic and research opportuinities

• Shared OMFS Coverage
• Call 5 7 days a month
• Mix of Inpatient and Outpatient

Clinical Scope

• Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular reconstruction
  • The ideal candidate would have an opportunity to grow (or clinical interest) in Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS), peripheral/orthopedic flap reconstruction and/or sleep medicine.
