A&P Mechanic – Certified Aviation Services, LLC Location: Los Angeles, California, United States Job Description Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for preventative maintenance and alterations of aircraft with the ability to adhere to specifications and safety standards. The Technician will inspect aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, brakes, valves, pumps, and air‑conditioning systems. Technicians maintain records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft and sign mechanical flight releases. Mechanics may also repair sheet metal or composite surfaces and rely on pilot descriptions of problems to diagnose and restore equipment. As a certified AMT, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our team members and guests as well as the airworthiness of the fleet. Duties and Responsibilities Perform all assigned maintenance duties related to routine inspections, troubleshooting, airframe structures, engines, aircraft systems, etc. Perform all airframe, power plant repairs and modifications required to meet company, client, and FAA requirements. Read and understand blueprints and aircraft wiring diagrams, incorporating them correctly. Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts; test aircraft systems. Ensure all documentation is current, resolve discrepancies, and complete corrective actions accurately. Operate all required power tools and equipment while maintaining a clean, operative work environment. Record and submit work orders accurately and timely. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Tow and park aircraft. Perform other aircraft maintenance work as required. Accomplish performance measures that align with CAS and client values of safety, integrity, respect, and trust. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions. Knowledge and understanding of the English language. 1 year of previous line maintenance experience preferred, not required. Experience and/or training on at least two commercial aircraft types (A319, A320, A321, B737, B767, B777, E190 preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literacy. Ability to legally operate a motorized vehicle. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Exemplifies CAS and client safety culture, values, and mission. Physical requirements: stand, lie down, kneel, climb stairs or ladders, frequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 pounds; ear protection required due to noise and vibration.
