Position Details Location: Chicago, IL 60611 | Type: Full Time | Category: Tax | Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $240,000.00 Responsibilities Review tax returns, tax workpapers, and tax projections. Provide effective consulting, planning, and compliance for clients. Research and document tax issues and identify planning opportunities. Oversee and manage day‑to‑day client needs and tax return processes, including identification and resolution of tax issues. Actively develop new business, expand services to existing clients, and serve as a trusted advisor. Participate in industry or service‑line related organizations and their events. Maintain strong client relationships with a proactive approach. Coordinate with partners to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper project planning. Coach, mentor, and train staff. Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation preferred; CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience. Proficient with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple client engagements. Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and delivering high‑quality service.
