Job description $15.50 an hour starting pay 5PM-Close We are in need of a PT Host/Hostess with light bartending experience.The DoubleTree Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront Hotel is looking for the perfect addition to BLUFIN, our waterfront restaurant. OpenTable software experience desired. Starting wage is $15.50 and commensurate with experience. This is not a tipped position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional guest service and ensures all guest inquires and concerns are addressed promptly
- Seats guests at tables or in waiting areas
- Presents appropriate menus and informs guests of current specials and promotions
- Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients
- Attentively listens to guests and anticipates any additional needs or concerns
- Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members
- Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and appropriate inventories throughout the department
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism
