Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students for the 2026–2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work Monday through Friday at a vibrant elementary school near Nebo. You’ll be at the forefront of fostering communication skills and confidence in young learners, collaborating with educators and families to help each student thrive.

As a valued team member, you’ll manage a caseload of around 43 students, developing and implementing customized intervention plans. Your expertise will be crucial in both assessing speech and language needs and tracking student progress throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
• Active North Carolina SLP license highly desired (priority consideration for those already licensed)
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen, assess, and identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and deliver individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapy
• Maintain records and report on student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input
