Field Service Technician I

About the Role: The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean‑up and preparation of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste for transportation. The role involves loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, inspecting equipment, hoses and connections, and performing confined space entry. Position Responsibilities Safely operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable laws. Handle, package, and transport both hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Remove materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup. Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment. Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, hand tools, and other tools as needed. Maintain a neat and clean working environment. Act as a professional representative of Reworld while working autonomously at customer sites. Comply with OSHA health and safety rules and complete required training provided by Reworld. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to travel 10–25% of the time, including overnight travel. Physical Demands of the Role Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb. Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces. Qualified to wear a full‑face respirator. Consistently work in various weather conditions. Additional benefits information is available at Pay Transparency Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably and provides competitive compensation and benefits packages. The pay range for the primary location of this position is $39,200.00 – $52,100.00 USD per year. The final salary offered will be determined based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements, and applicable union contracts.
