Safety Manager

Position Overview: Safety Manager The Safety Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of workplace safety across construction job sites and company operations. This role partners closely with field leadership to implement and maintain effective safety programs, ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety regulations, and foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Majority of time will be traveling to job locations/sites within Indiana utilized by Newjac Industrial and Fire Protection. Primary Responsibilities Adherence to Federal, Local, & Company safety policies Lead safety activities Coordination of Risk Assessments & Job Hazard Analysis Site specific safety plans Site safety inspections Conduct safety trainings & evaluations Attend safety meetings Perform initial accident investigations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in safety is preferred Board Certified Safety Professional certification such as CSP, SMP, CHST are preferred Understanding & application of OSHA regulations Organizational & interpersonal skills required Excellent leadership communication & problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality High School diploma or equivalent to be considered for employment Company benefits Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with company match North Management Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
