Job Summary Mercy University invites nominations and applications for 12‑month faculty positions in the nursing program. Faculty with experience teaching clinical specialties, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and Medical Surgical are encouraged to apply. This position is for the undergraduate programs on the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities This position requires the ability to teach in a variety of courses. Responsibilities include teaching with an emphasis on high‑impact teaching practices, inclusive pedagogy, and active learning. Required Skills & Experience At least 3 years’ experience in an academic setting preferred. Unencumbered NYS License. Experience teaching in an online format. Experience working with diverse student populations. Education Requirements Education: MS in Nursing (required). DNP, PhD, or EdD preferred. Physical/Other Requirements Must be able to perform tasks that may involve pushing, pulling, moving, or lifting up to 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodations as needed.
