COTA PRN - Lake Worth Beach, Florida

$40/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center. As a COTA PRN, you will have the opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our residents. Our facility is dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest, and we are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our team.

About the Role:

As a COTA PRN at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, you will:

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities and independence

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to promote physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being

• Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to track residents' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and promote a positive rehabilitation environment

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a COTA

• Current certification as a COTA (COTA/L)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately
