About VINA:

We are a counter-service restaurant with a focus on hospitality and the guest experience. Our mission is to share authentic Vietnamese street food through a personal lens, grounded in culture and experience. Vina serves high-quality, made-to-order food in a welcoming space built for everyone, including families, friends, and anyone looking for a reliable place to eat.

About you:

The ideal teammate is passionate, positive, detail-oriented and hospitality focused. This position is perfect for someone who wants to be part of a family-owned business on the path to growth, and appreciates good food and the dining experience.

Job Summary:

Every teammate must deliver exceptional hospitality, maintain cleanliness and organization, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Servers are also responsible for handling cash, managing orders, and ensuring that every guest is served with care and attention to detail. All teammates will go through our training program and will have knowledge of the menu and our steps of service.

Responsibilities of a Server:

Greeting guests, talking through our menu, and providing menu recommendations and additional information.
Upselling additional products when appropriate.
Familiarity with POS systems.
Communicating order details to the kitchen and expeditor.
Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
Providing exceptional customer experience.

Server Job Requirements:

Proven hospitality / customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.
Understanding of food safety and handling regulations.
A natural curiosity for personal growth and improving everyday.
Previous experience in food preparation and service within the hospitality industry; Server experience is a bonus.
Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
