Enterprise Architect

OverviewLutron is looking for a well-rounded and seasoned Enterprise Architect to join our Information Technology team at our Global Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. As we continually refine our existing systems and explore emerging technologies, you will play a key role in evaluating, selecting, and implementing the tools and services that will shape our future.This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact by influencing enterprise-wide technology direction while working in a culture committed to innovation, growth, and excellence.ResponsibilitiesEvolve and expand the IT system architecture to support short term and long-term business needs and long-term architectural needs, as the company continues to scale.Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies to drive business value increase, cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.Collaborate with other Architects to establish and govern technical standards, guidelines, and architectural principles across the organization, ensuring adherence through robust governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration for consistent software development practices.Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including onboarding of new applications and analysis of cost reduction opportunities.Assure a high standard of quality in your work. Mentor and coach colleagues to expand the effectiveness of those around you.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices by identifying and mitigating risks/vulnerabilities in software architectures, while collaborating with security and compliance teams to maintain secure development practices. QualificationsBachelors degree or Masters degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field with at least 3.0 GPA (or equivalent).8 Years experience with 3 years in enterprise, data or system architectureExpertise in enterprise platforms and software evaluation, including ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), and service tools requiredKnowledge of modern cloud and architecture practices, including managing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) requiredUnderstanding of TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) methodology plus demonstrated ability to lead projectsExperience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems, with a good understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws preferredLutron Electronics’ position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
