The facility serves a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, and utilizes the EPIC EMR system to support its clinical staff.

Board Certified - Orthopedic Surgery

Job Details:

• Orthopedic surgeon needed to cover 24-hour emergency call shifts (7a-7a)
• Open dates beginning 10/07 with potential for ongoing needs
• Provider MUST be able to perform hip nailing procedures - this is a critical requirement
• Perform orthopedic surgical and trauma cases including treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints
• Total Joint Replacement, Revision, or Repair procedures (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
• Hip and knee repair or revision procedures required
• Arthroscopy required
• Spinal surgery without instrumentation (Lumbar, Cervical, Thoracic) required
• Spinal surgery with instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar) required
• General surgical and non-surgical orthopedic procedures required
• Patient demographics include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• EPIC EMR system utilized
• Active Kentucky license required (IMLC accepted)
• Active DEA required
• Board certification required
• BLS certification required
• Clean background required
• Travel reimbursement provided including lodging, standard economy flights, and rental car

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
