Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Opportunity

Florida Kidney Physicians is hiring Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in the Greater Tampa Bay area! Hiring locations include Plant City, Riverview/Brandon, Sun City Center, Tampa, Temple Terrace, Wesley Chapel, and Westchase.

You can join this nationwide network through Florida Kidney Physicians, seeking passionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to join their team. APRN's must have experience as a hospitalist and working in a hospital.

Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience.

Hiring package includes:

• Competitive base salary
• 3 Weeks PTO
• 1 Week CME Annually (2,500 CME allowance)

Schedule/Practice details:

• Monday-Friday
• ESRD Clinic and CKD Office
• Hospital Rounding
• Travel will be necessary for rounding in the clinics and hospitals

Qualifications:

• Master's degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
