CONTROLLER

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead multiple clients' restaurant and hospitality accounting operations. You will manage all financial activities, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights for multiple restaurant and hospitality clients. The ideal candidate possesses deep industry expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Manage daily accounting, general ledger, month-end closing & reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and client financial reporting. Payroll Administration: Manage bi-weekly payroll, track tips, and ensure employee reporting compliance. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file state sales tax and Liquor-by-the-Drink (LBD) taxes. Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily sales, cash drops, credit card reconciliations, and vendor payments. Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze costs (food, beverage, and labor) to optimize client profitability. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience strictly within the restaurant/hospitality industry. Multi-Client Focus: Prior experience managing financial records for multiple business entities or locations. Software: Advanced, hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop/Online), Restaurant365, Toast and Google Workspace Tax Knowledge: Sales Tax, Liquor by the Drink, Payroll Taxes Communication: Coordination with ownership, management, payroll providers, and vendors. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Benefits: To be discussed during the interview process.
