Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Albuquerque, NM at a skilled nursing facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Applicants will need an active state license and relevant clinical experience to start the assignment.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Mexico Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Current clinical experience treating adult post-acute and rehabilitation patients preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restorative programs, fall risk assessment, and mobility training preferred.
• Documentation experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Shift Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days).
• Typical weekly hours: 35 per VMS guaranteed hours.
• Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
