Responsibilities & Expertise As a vital member of our clinical team, the Wound Nurse LPN / RN will oversee specialized resident care: Assessment & Treatment: Evaluate unique patient needs to determine and implement effective treatment plans. Direct Care: Provide expert nursing care under the direction of attending physicians and clinical leadership. Regimen Management: As a Wound Nurse LPN / RN , you will modify treatments to meet the physical and psychological needs of residents in accordance with facility policies. Education: Empower residents and families with best practices for healing and wellness. Oversight: Monitor patient progress per HIPAA guidelines and supervise non‑licensed personnel. Qualifications License: Current, unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in wound care and treatments; long‑term care experience is a plus. Specialization: Prior certification in Wound Care is preferred for the Wound Nurse LPN / RN role. Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and familiarity with the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessment tool.
