Role Description The Financial Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Iuka, MS. In this position, the individual will meet with members and prospective members to assess their financial goals, explain Modern Woodmen's products and services, and develop personalized financial strategies and protection plans. Typical responsibilities include providing guidance on life insurance, retirement planning, and investment options, preparing and presenting proposals, and maintaining ongoing relationships to review and adjust plans as members' needs change. The role also involves participating in local fraternal activities, supporting community projects, and representing Modern Woodmen's mission and values within the Iuka area. The Financial Representative will collaborate with team members, follow regulatory and compliance requirements, and use available tools and training to grow a member-focused practice. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help members create comprehensive, long-term financial strategies. Candidates should possess skills in Insurance and Finance to explain protection products, analyze needs, and support sound financial decision-making. Candidates should possess skills related to Investments to present appropriate options and align portfolios with members' risk tolerance and goals. Relevant skills such as strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service abilities are highly beneficial. Qualifications such as a high school diploma or equivalent are required; a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. Licensing for insurance and investment products (or the ability to obtain required licenses within a set timeframe) is expected.
