Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, modalities (such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy), and patient education strategies to address pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and efficiently, adhering to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs to promote long-term wellness and self-management.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, ensuring the well-being of patients and colleagues.

Education:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

Certifications:

• Current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the State of Oregon (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills:

• Exceptional clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills in the evaluation and treatment of a diverse range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions.
• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic massage.
