Banking Specialist – Job Description The Banking Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing requests to open, close and update bank account information. This is an accounting support position in a fast‑paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa’s credit requirements. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive bank‑related customer service to US Branch offices Facilitate client needs with partner banks (Opening/Closing/Maintaining HOA bank accounts) Work with departments across shared services center to ensure operational efficiency for various accounting functions Monitor, log, and retrieve HOA bank statements Transaction research Manage Bank Information in Complete Control for Communities (C3) Update signature cards as requested Generate banking reports within Complete Control for Communities (C3) Other duties as assigned Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience in customer service Basic understanding of accounting functions Problem solving and time management skills Complete Control for Communities (C3) software preferred but not required Experience operating within web‑based ticketing service preferred but not required Understanding of our experience in the Community Association Management Industry preferred but not required Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment preferred but not required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required 1–3 years of banking experience preferred We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Associa
