School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lathrop, Missouri

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students ages 3 to 18 during the 2026-2027 school year. Based near Lathrop, MO and Gower, this part-time role is ideal for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (certified, CFY, teletherapy experienced) or a dedicated SLPA interested in working in school or healthcare settings. You will cover three locations, working with a mixed caseload-primarily mild to moderate-providing meaningful speech and language interventions that help students succeed.


This position begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, including ESY dates. Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $52 per hour, based on experience.


We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC, CFY, teletherapy), or SLPA (school or healthcare background)
• Eligibility to work in school settings and manage mixed caseloads
• Capability to work independently across multiple locations
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy tailored to students' individual IEPs
• Collaborating with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies
• Evaluating and monitoring progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate records and collaborating on IEP meetings
• For SLPA candidates, working under SLP supervision while supporting regular therapy sessions

This is a part-time contract, with either 7.5 hours per day, 2 days per week for SLPs, or 3 days per week for SLPAs to meet supervision requirements. You'll play a critical role in helping students develop vital communication skills while enjoying the flexibility of a school-based schedule.
