Candidates must be available for evening shift mid-week, and must be available for weekend shifts (AM and PM). Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered for this role. As a support staff member, you’ll assist servers and bartenders to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. In this role, you may serve as a host, busser, food runner, or dock hand, contributing to the seamless flow of restaurant operations. Duties and Responsibilities Guest Interactions Act professionally and positively with coworkers, guests, and the public. Answer phones, take reservations, and process take-out orders (hosts, dock hands). Clear and reset tables efficiently. Collaborate as a supportive teammate with all coworkers. Housekeeping Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Perform hourly restroom checks, ensuring proper levels of supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, toilet paper). This job description outlines general responsibilities; other duties may be assigned as needed. Education and Experience No prior experience required; training will be provided. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Strong customer service skills and proactive problem-solving abilities. Accountability for actions, successes, and areas for improvement. Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and changing organizational needs. Maintain a high level of personal grooming, cleanliness, and professional appearance. Familiarity with or willingness to learn restaurant software and applications (for hosts and dock hands). Working Conditions Physical Requirements: Active role involving standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Ability to lift and carry 25-40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping. Visual acuity to distinguish shapes and ensure safety. Hearing ability to understand and respond to verbal communication effectively. Environment: Moderate to loud noise typical of a restaurant environment.
