Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program
El Programa de Atención Médica de Boston para Personas sin Hogar está buscando un miembro de AmeriCorps para servir en clínicas ambulatorias y basadas en refugios, así como en una instalación de convalecencia médica de 24 horas. El año de servicio se extenderá desde principios de septiembre de 2026 hasta finales de julio de 2027. El puesto implica gestión de casos, educación en salud, navegación de pacientes y más.
- Capacidad para aprender rápidamente y trabajar de manera independiente,
- Historial de servicio voluntario y/o experiencia previa en atención médica (como profesional, voluntario/pasante o en cursos), que idealmente incluiría trabajar con poblaciones desatendidas,
- Compromiso demostrado con la afirmación cultural en diversos entornos,
- Capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos y plazos,
- Una comprensión sólida y compromiso con la misión del Programa de Atención Médica de Boston para Personas sin Hogar, y una comprensión clara de la importancia de las relaciones de servicio para la misión de BHCHP.
Para ser elegible para AmeriCorps, debes:
- Ser ciudadano, residente permanente o nacional de los Estados Unidos;
- Tener al menos 18 años o más;
- Tener un diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente;
- Estar dispuesto a someterte a una verificación de antecedentes penales de Servicio Nacional, que incluye antecedentes penales, registro de delincuentes sexuales y verificaciones del FBI;
