TSMC Arizona’s first fab will operate its leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. This key role in the IT operations team is responsible for delivering a modern, efficient, and stable IT workplace for internal customers. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a quick learner, and adept at adapting to rapidly changing conditions. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with a broad IT knowledge base, are essential for success. This role requires availability for on-call work, including nights and holidays. Responsibilities Support project management, architecture design, implementation, and operations in one or more of the following areas: Fab-related system operation and troubleshooting. AI-driven system integration and full utilization of the platform. Prompt engagement with fab users to meet business purposes. Follow standard procedures to conduct system changes. Assist continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. Conduct research and adopt new IT technologies to enhance productivity. Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to address business needs and resolve technical issues. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Network Engineering, Programming and Software Development, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis. Technical Skills Proficient in SQL at an intermediate or advanced level. Expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving across diverse IT systems and environments. Interpersonal Skills Effective communication and presentation skills. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Adaptability in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Physical Requirements Must be willing to work on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility. Must be able to work night shifts (6 pm to 6 am). Training On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize the candidate with company-specific systems and processes.
