Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to MN state statutes, code of ethics, insurance requirements, and Northstar's policy and procedures.
• Maintain continuing education requirements to keep license in good standing.
• Maintain a minimum of 25 billable hours per week.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments. Create treatment plans and monitor client progress.
• Complete documentation with a focus on quality, compliance, and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate client care with necessary support and services in the best interest of the client, if applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Required skills/experience:
• Master's degree or higher education in mental health discipline.
• Must be a licensed mental health profession in the state of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT)—fully licensed or pre-licensed.
• Demonstrate competent use of the DSM-V and evidence-based approaches.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills. Proficient organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
• Adept to learning and navigating electronic health record system. Strong computer skills.
• CPR certification or attain within 30 days of hire (in-house training available).
• Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems.
• Must pass a drug screen and a state of MN background check.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• Familiar with Procentive (EHR).
• Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, etc.
• Strong motivational interviewing skills.
• Work independently, think critically, and cultivate a solution-focused mindset.
