Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team at our Birth Care Center. This role is critical in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their infants, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for childbirth and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.
• Assist in the management of labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Collaborate with a dedicated anesthesia team and hospitalists for comprehensive care.
• Participate in daily nurse leader rounding to enhance patient experience.
• Implement patient-centered strategies to support breastfeeding and mother-baby bonding.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certifications.
• Experience with OR circulating, labor positioning, and OB emergency management is preferred.
