Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts (18:00 - 06:00)

Assignment Details

36 or 48 hour option, 2 years of experience required. This unit does not accept first-time travelers.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• AWHONN Advanced certification
• AWHONN Beginner certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with labor and delivery processes, including cesarean sections.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on care and delivery options.
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately in the EMR system.
