Company Description Speak Live Play – In Home Speech & Feeding Therapy is a small private practice providing in‑home and in‑office speech, language, dysphagia, and occupational therapy services to families throughout the Los Angeles area. The practice serves clients across the lifespan, from birth through adulthood, addressing communication, feeding/swallowing, fine motor, and sensory processing needs. Services are evidence‑based, engaging, and results‑oriented, supporting each client in reaching their fullest potential in communication, nutrition, and mobility. Individualized evaluations and treatment plans are paired with active family involvement, education, and training. Speak Live Play is committed to high‑quality, client‑centered care using proven therapeutic interventions. Role Description This is an in‑home role located in West Los Angeles, CA. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct speech, language, and dysphagia therapy to children and adults in home and office settings. Daily responsibilities include implementing evidence‑based interventions, monitoring progress, documenting services, and collaborating with families to support carryover of strategies in everyday routines. The clinician will participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with occupational and other therapy providers when appropriate, and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. The role also involves client and caregiver education, scheduling coordination, and adherence to professional and ethical standards of practice. Qualifications Skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech and Communication Disorders. Experience working with Language Disorders across pediatric and adult populations. Competence in assessment and treatment of Dysphagia and feeding/swallowing difficulties. Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in California. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time‑management skills, with the ability to work independently in community and office settings.
