Property Manager/ SFR

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of a growing portfolio of single-family rental homes. This role is responsible for maximizing occupancy, driving resident satisfaction, coordinating property operations, and ensuring strong financial performance across the portfolio. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence, strong communication skills, and a proactive ownership mindset. Responsibilities Property Operations Oversee day-to-day management of a portfolio of single-family rental properties. Monitor property performance, occupancy, leasing activity, and resident satisfaction. Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and turnover activities. Ensure properties meet company standards and local regulatory requirements. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and identify opportunities to improve performance. Leasing & Resident Relations Manage leasing activities and vacancy reduction initiatives. Review rental applications and support resident onboarding. Respond to resident inquiries and escalations in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate lease renewals and retention programs. Monitor delinquency and work with residents to resolve payment issues. Build and manage relationships with maintenance vendors, contractors, and service providers. Review and approve repair estimates and invoices. Monitor vendor performance, costs, and service quality. Ensure maintenance requests are completed efficiently and cost effectively. Required Qualifications 7+ years of residential property management experience. Experience managing portfolios of 100+ Single-family homes. Strong understanding of leasing, maintenance coordination, rent collections, and resident relations. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. This position requires a combination of office and field work. The role involves regular walking, standing, climbing stairs, and touring or inspecting properties. Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 20 pounds may be required. The position requires frequent computer use, including typing and reviewing documents. Employees must be able to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members in person, by phone, and electronically.
