You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.In this role, you will lead the design, development, and execution of training strategies that ensure employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to support both current and future business needs.To be considered for Training Systems Manager, you will need:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical operations environment, with demonstrated knowledge of production processes, workforce development, and continuous improvement practices.3 years of experience in training, development, or coaching in a technical or operational environmentStrong knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systemsProven experience developing and implementing training curriculaExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)Experience working in a team-based and cross-functional environmentAbility to assess organizational needs and develop effective training solutionsStrong project management and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with training or media toolsAbility to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organizationWillingness to travelAs a Training Systems Manager, you will:Develop and implement training strategies that support organizational performance and growthAssess workforce skills, identify gaps, and lead initiatives to close those gapsEnsure compliance with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS), industry regulations, and customer requirementsDesign, deliver, and evaluate training programs across technical and professional disciplinesPartner with operations, HR, and leadership to align training with business goalsMeasure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiativesManage training systems, tracking, reporting, and documentation for compliance and efficiencyOversee employee development programs and support career growth planningServe as a subject matter expert and “go-to” resource for training and developmentLead, coach, and develop training instructorsLeverage technology and innovative methods to enhance training deliveryCollaborate across sites to ensure consistency in training programsWhat You’ll ImpactTraining programs supporting over 1,100 employees across multiple sitesWorkforce development tied directly to business strategy and performanceCompliance with industry and regulatory standardsOrganizational learning, growth, and long-term talent developmentAdditional InformationThis role spans a wide range of learning topics, from technical skills to leadership development, and requires collaboration across multiple departments and locations.
