Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Commercial Landscape Maintenance Account Manager Position Summary The Commercial Landscape Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts while ensuring exceptional service delivery, client satisfaction, contract retention, and profitability. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with operations teams to execute landscape maintenance programs that meet or exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial maintenance accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, HOAs, and commercial property owners. Conduct regular site visits and property inspections with clients. Address client concerns, requests, and service issues promptly and professionally. Lead client meetings and present recommendations for landscape improvements and enhancements. Identify opportunities for enhancement services, irrigation improvements, seasonal color, tree care, and other value-added services. Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and contracts. Achieve sales and revenue growth goals through upselling and account expansion. Assist in contract renewals and retention strategies. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and account records within CRM systems. Operational Coordination Collaborate with Branch Managers, Operations Managers, and Field Supervisors to ensure service quality. Conduct routine quality inspections to verify work meets company and client standards. Communicate client expectations and service requirements to field teams. Monitor job costs, labor utilization, and account profitability. Assist in scheduling and resource planning as needed. Manage account budgets and profitability targets. Review service agreements and ensure contract compliance. Monitor billing accuracy and assist with collections when necessary. Track enhancement sales, revenue performance, and gross margin goals. Quality Assurance & Safety Perform regular property audits and document service quality. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations. Support safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety among field personnel. Maintain detailed records of inspections, client interactions, and corrective actions. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance, account management, property management, or related industry. Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive sales growth. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Preferred Landscape industry certifications such as CLT, LIC, ISA, or related credentials. Experience managing commercial properties, HOAs, retail centers, office parks, industrial facilities, or municipal accounts.
