CNC Machinist$25.00 - $30.00/hour12 Hour Days6:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Sunday, Every Other Weekend Off)Our Client In Spring, TX Is Seeking An Experienced CNC Machinist To Support The Machining Of Precision Fiberglass Fittings And Components.This Position Is Responsible For CNC And Manual Machine Setup, Operation, And G-code Programming, Primarily On Haas CNC Machines. The Ideal Candidate Is Hands-on, Detail-oriented, And Comfortable Working An Overnight Shift With Significant Overtime.CNC Machinist Responsibilities:Machine fiberglass fittings, including male and female adapters and other precision componentsSet up and operate CNC and manual machinesRetrieve, modify, and write NC programs for production and custom partsProgram and edit G-code as requiredPerform complete machine setups, including tooling and offsetsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, manuals and specificationsDetermine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations and setup requirementsMeasure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers and tape measuresMaintain adequate supplies of machine consumablesFollow all quality, environmental, safety, and OSHA requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaRequirements For CNC Machinist:CNC machining experience with manual and/or CNC machinesHaas CNC experienceG-code programming experienceProven setup experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and tolerancesAbility to read calipers and micrometersAbility to read and write in English or SpanishWillingness to work overnight shifts with heavy overtimeReliable attendance and strong attention to detailRelevant machining experience requiredAbility to frequently stand and walkAbility to frequently use hands for precision workAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbsGood hand-eye coordination
