Production Worker/Forklift Operator

Job Title: Production Worker/Forklift Operator Location: Building Envelope - Salt Lake City, UT Req ID: 16944 About the role The Production Worker Middle performs general duties that include, but are not limited to: measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks; checking for general defects in material; communicating quality issues to pour table operators during the production run; assisting with attaching labels and gluing slats to bundles; adjusting saws; and assisting in loading of packaging machine plastic. Starting Hourly Wage: $27.33 hourly + $1 shift differential Monday - Thursday 4 pm to 2:30 am. What you will be doing Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge Monitoring of the product and the equipment (robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors and packaging equipment) Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment Following all Standard Operating Procedures safely What are we looking for High School Diploma One to two years’ experience in a shipping/warehousing operation One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (desired) Forklift experience Experience with inventory software; SAP preferred Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds Additional Requirements Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
