Overview of the Billing Analyst Role:

• Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and process billing statements and invoices in accordance with government regulations and policies.
  • Monitor and reconcile billing discrepancies, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for billing and reporting purposes.
  • Analyze billing data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of billing operations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Billing Analyst:

• Experience:
  
  
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, finance, or a related role, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex billing processes and managing large data sets.
  • analysis of open contracts to prepare billing accurately
• Skills:
  
  
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
  • previous governmental billing highly desired
  • Proficiency in billing and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting.
