Bench Scientist BiologistLocation: 300 Technology Square, Unit 300, Cambridge, MA 02139Duration: 6-month contract, possibility to extend past thatMonday to Friday – 9am to 5pm – No overtimeKey ResponsibilitiesExecute cell-based and molecular biology experiments with minimal supervisionDesign and optimize experimental protocols to address research objectivesMaintain accurate, detailed laboratory records in compliance with documentation standardsTroubleshoot experimental issues and adapt methodologies as neededAnalyse and interpret experimental dataCollaborate with team members and communicate results effectivelyEducation & ExperienceRequired: Bachelor's degree in biology, Biochemistry, or related field with relevant laboratory experienceOR master's degree or PhD in related disciplineBench scientist biologist experience – 2-5 years is idealTechnical SkillsProficient in core laboratory techniques including:Cell biology methodsMolecular biology techniquesIn vitro cellular assaysDrug response assaysStrong record keeping and laboratory notebook documentation practicesDemonstrated ability to design experiments independentlyProven track record of real-world troubleshooting and problem-solving in laboratory settingsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with cancer biology and/or drug discovery
