Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort around the clock.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately upon arrival to prioritize care.
• Administer emergency treatments and medications adhering to protocols.
• Document patient information and procedures efficiently using Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
• Follow unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with appropriate state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC certifications by start date.
• Strong clinical skills including intubations, suturing, splinting, and patient assessments.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shifts on a rotating schedule.
