CDL-B Flatbed Driver

Company Info


A local manufacturer is seeking a CDL-B Flatbed Driver for a short-term assignment delivering countertops to commercial customers throughout Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver who enjoys being on the road and is comfortable securing loads for safe transportation.

Job Summary

  • Drive a flatbed truck throughout Indiana delivering countertops to commercial job sites and customers
  • Inspect loads and properly secure countertops using straps before transport
  • Adjust and verify straps throughout the route to ensure loads remain secure
  • Perform deliveries safely and professionally while following DOT regulations
  • Complete required delivery documentation and inspections
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at customer locations

Up to $28.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B CDL required
  • Acceptable driving record with minimal points
  • Ability and willingness to secure loads using straps
  • Physically capable of climbing, bending, reaching, and working around a flatbed trailer
  • Strong commitment to safety and load securement practices
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Previous flatbed experience preferred but not required
