What Your Day Will Look Like: As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in shaping critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects that make a real difference in communities. From concept through completion, you’ll drive every phase—planning, design, and delivery, while guiding high-performing, multidisciplinary teams to success. In this role, you’ll build and strengthen client relationships, serving as a trusted partner and strategic advisor. You’ll balance technical excellence with financial and operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards. What You’ll Do: Drive project execution strategies, proactively identifying risks, resolving challenges, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track and within scope. Develop and monitor detailed project work plans, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure efficient use of time and financial performance. Lead client presentations, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards throughout all project phases. Oversee contract management activities, including scope development, negotiations, change orders, and documentation. Champion continuous improvement by implementing best practices, innovative technologies, and process enhancements across projects. Partner with business development teams to identify new opportunities, contribute to proposals, and support project pursuits and interviews. Monitor project financials, including forecasting, invoicing, and profitability analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, environmental, planning, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing guidance on long‑term infrastructure planning, capital improvement programs, and system optimization. What You’ll Need: Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline. 8+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil3D software. Hybrid job operating between an office and a field environment, requiring standard office equipment and occasional exposure to weather, noise, and bodies of water. Physical demands include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional handling and lifting up to 35 lbs. Operation of a company vehicle may be required.
