Job Description

  • Develop electrical distribution system designs for FMCG process plants.

  • Perform power system studies for plant electrical distribution systems.

  • Work with clients to define project scope and collect engineering inputs.

  • Coordinate with vendors and site construction teams.

  • Support UL508A compliance studies for electrical panels.

  • Design LV power distribution panels, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, substations, lighting, grounding, and 480V systems.

  • Perform cable/conduit sizing, lighting calculations, grounding design, and cable tray layout.

  • Develop BOMs, engineering packages, elementary drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment arrangements.

  • Support IQ/OQ activities and electrical safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 10 years of electrical engineering experience in process plants.

  • Experience with LV electrical distribution design.

  • Strong knowledge of NEC, UL508A, IEEE, and NFPA 70E .

  • Experience with power distribution panels, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, 480V systems, lighting, and grounding.

  • Knowledge of cable sizing, conduit sizing, cable trays, and electrical panel design.

  • Experience developing engineering documentation and single-line diagrams.

  • Electrical system studies experience.
